Overview
I was commissioned for an event videography project, filming local rock cover band “Right Place Right Time” during a private birthday party event, with the goal of creating a promotional video that effectively captures their personality, energy and musical talent. My role encompassed all stages of production, from pre-shoot setup to post-production delivery.
Filming involved deploying a three-camera system: an A-cam operated handheld to capture dynamic angles and engaging shots of individual band members, complemented by B & C-cams positioned on tripods for static wide and medium shots ensuring continuous coverage of the performance. I filmed twelve full songs, prioritizing capturing moments that showcased the band’s stage presence and interaction with the audience.
Post-production was completed in Adobe Premiere Pro, including meticulous audio synchronization from multiple camera sources to ensure a clean and professional sound mix. I implemented color grading techniques to enhance visual appeal and create a consistent aesthetic. Creative editing focused on utilizing interest cuts, dynamic transitions, and carefully selected clips to reflect their engaging stage presence and positive energy.
The final deliverable was a compilation promo video (featured above) with the goal of highlighting the band's personality and skillset. Ultimately, it's a video they could use for promoting their talents
This project demonstrates my ability to provide high-quality event videography services and capture dynamic content in a fast-paced live setting.
